I am not after any questions about unlocking an Iphone, which I am sure it was addressed many times before. I am interested to know if, with the same Iphone, someone could travel in different european countries using the official provider for that specific country. Otherwise the only option would be roaming which I am sure it is very costly and not very convenient on a long term basis.

Im planning to buy an iphone next week. I am going to buy just the iphone and keep my original contract. I know the iphone uses some kind of data but i will be only using the wifi for internet. So what exactly do you need the data plan for and should i add the data plan if im only gunna be using the wifi for internet browsing?

I would only get the 450 anytime minutes plan which I'm guessing is the cheapest plan, if there is something cheaper let me know. I would want 1,500 text messages and obviously the unlimited data it comes with. Ive been searching but different sources tell me different things, some say $75 some say up to $95 a month. Does anyone ahve a plan similar to this for the iphone 3g that can help and say what their monthly bill looks like?

i'm concidering buying an iphone but all the websites i looked at are no help. i currently have text messages blocked out on the plan i have, so basically no media package, but the iphone has a wireless support. do i need the media package to use the wireless or is it a seperate deal? also att charges 20 bucks for the iphone data package for existing plans is that a one time charge or an additional 20 a month?

I am saving up for an iPhone 3G, then I am getting a piggy back sim so I can use it prepaid so I don't have to spend a fortune on getting out of verizon. When I went to the Apple Store it said $199 for 8GB, and that's the one I am planning on getting.
